Oh so much to say about the word HAPPINESS!

It seems we are constantly watching for this feeling, this moment, this person, or this place to bring us back to happiness….

I would get so frustrated with the ups and downs of life. Like why can’t I just be happy most of the time? Why do I always find faults in every little thing I do? In every little thing others do?

It wasn’t until awhile later I was sitting outside drinking a gross Peets coffee, that I laughed and felt joy. Everything about that coffee was irritating but I giggled in the moment of it all. I found joy. I just chose to see the other side of it.

While I still struggle at times with “chasing happiness” I find a lot more humor in life. I find being in my humanness is in a way permission to FU$& up and try again. To laugh and to cry. To get frustrated and to jump for joy.

I guess what I am trying to say in this message is happiness can been found in every moment. Because it’s vulnerable. Smile at your mistakes. Smirk at your upsets. Joke with your irritable partner. We are all trying to figure this out in our own unique way.

Moment by moment. Day by day. We get to choose. Now that’s pretty awesome🪽🦋😭🥹

Day 3&4 of Mindfulness Moments!

Something about this quote lit a fire in my belly. I honored every single word and could relate to the remembrance of rage played like a violin throughout the chapters of my life…..

It brought me to a moment when I remembered I hated my life. I hated being here. I hated people pleasing and picking all the wrong partners. I hated being misunderstood and taken for granted. I wanted to set it ALL ON FIRE! I thought about how much my body has endured as it was the only vessel holding me together…….

We don’t always think of our body like this. It took the punches. The crazy nights out partying. The ways it was disrespected mentally and dishonored sexually. It kept me alive and wearing that beautiful mask to ensure I “looked” ok on the outside. It martyred through my endless nights of tears and the crap food I couldn’t stop eating. It was my temple and despite my blind eye to what our bodies actually do for us, my body saved me. It held all those vulnerable parts and it brought me here. To today………

I did not expect these mindfulness moments to lead me in creating an even deeper relationship with my body. To again bring me face to face with my humanness. The gratitude I hold for body, mind, and spirit is precious. I’ve seen that it isn’t just a “skin bag” like I love to say, but it is where all creation takes place. It is the vessel I use to spread my message to the world.

I don’t want to set my pages on fire anymore. I love those pages and will continue to write more. May you find the love of your body. The love of your mind. The love of your spirit. Let them dance and show you just how precious you are. The only fire happening over here is the one in my heart and in my magic🦋✨🐦‍🔥

Day 2 of Mindfulness Moments…….

Ok I thought this was going to be easy and just relaxing, but in actuality I’m seeing how much needed to come out. How much I needed a break and needed to honor all of these feelings I have been pushing off for “later. “

A reminder that it is ok to slow down. It’s ok to just wake up and sit in bed until 4pm and make breakfast at 6pm. It’s ok to have no plan for the day and to not rush to try and fit everything in. I’m not missing anything.

The idea of rushing was so ingrained into me by my mom. Oh she worked so hard and struggled daily. I thought that was what life was. Being a 3/5 Emotional Manifestor you can imagine how her hustle bustle nature eventually wore me out and escaping and forgetting is what I became good at…..

I have grown a lot though, but in me doing these moments I see how no matter how much we evolve or seem to know…… our humanness will always find us. To humble us. To remind us it’s the journey not the destination.

So today I realize how much I can become so tied up in spirit and mind. I must make sure to cherish my body, my temple, my channeling vessel of Sekhem energy. She needs to be grounded and nurtured just as much as every other aspect of myself. The holy trinity.

I’m so grateful for the ability to contemplate these moments and share them with you. I hope this message leads you on a journey of self love and self discovery in all aspects of your beautiful life🦋

What a day today. Day 1 of my mindfulness journey and I thought why not share it with those who are trying to find their peace too…….

So venture with me to discover the mysteries of life, the aches of the soul, the sound of the leaves, and the whispers of angels.

If this excites you and you want to do it too, get yourself a journal, a cute pen, some incense (I love frankincense and dragons blood), peaceful tunes, and dedicate at least 20 minutes a day tuning into your body, mind and soul…..

I did mine at the park today and I have to be honest, life has hit me pretty hard these last couple months. I’m proud of myself and yet as I unpack it all and spend time regenerating in solitude I realized this constant……my body.

My body was telling the underlying story all along. I was tired and even coffee wasn’t working. I found it difficult to be creative and my mind was overrun with overwhelm. My root chakra (base of spine) was constantly aching, I wasn’t feeling safe or protected in my space. My body was trying to tell me something….

Low and behold I got the message. I tuned in. I listened. Ya know what? I’m feeling 1000x better. I think we expect our body to just take the hits. Go the extra mile. Deal with it. Yet, it is dying for us to listen. It wants to guide us and show us the way to peace. To love.

I am grateful for those ups and downs because it gave me perspective on how I sometimes still fall into trying to tune it all out to survive. Not anymore, I’m turning up the dial and am committed to being with my body. I hope you find solace in this message and tune in as well!
